Sonya Young, author of Folding Flags is a veteran, artist and a nature enthusiast.  After serving 20 plus years of military service and completing her MS from the University of San Diego, she turned her focus toward the artist within. Her inspiration for this book is rooted in her desire to share her experiences with nature and how it unfolds in the most unexpected ways.  A resident of Las Vegas, she has spent countless hours hiking where she confesses her heart and mind feel connected totally to life.
