The trouble is, Sireka isn't entirely wrong.
Drawn back into a conflict she didn't choose, Maren discovers an ancient artifact that reawakens abilities she thought she'd lost forever. But the power comes slowly, painfully, and at a cost she doesn't fully understand. As she reunites with old allies and faces new enemies, she must navigate a war fought not with armies but with ideas, where the enemy's argument is dangerously persuasive and the line between freedom and tyranny depends entirely on who is drawing it.
Behind Sireka's crusade, a darker purpose is taking shape. Someone with knowledge older than the Prisms themselves is building a device that could change the kingdom forever. And the people Sireka claims to be freeing may be paying a price they don't yet know about.
With time running out and her own power threatening to consume her, Maren must decide what she's willing to sacrifice to protect a world that is far more complicated than the one she fought for two years ago. The Prisms may be flawed. The system may be broken. But the answer isn't destruction. It's something harder, something slower, and something that starts with a nineteen-year-old woman with no Prism and no easy answers, walking toward the fight because no one else will.
