Becca Lawrence comes to her uncle’s Black Rock Ranch with her life in turmoil, hoping that the peace of the mountains will help her figure out a Plan B. The last thing on her mind is running into her old high school crush, Nate. He’d been a star football player and she’d only tutored him in algebra, but now? Her heart is pounding again, and she can’t concentrate on planning her future.

Nate Hastings is finally in charge of a construction job, but frustrating delays make it impossible to stay on schedule, let alone take a long-awaited trail ride.
