The Path to God:
Nanette was born in 1963 in Lodi, California, raised in the Pacific Northwest and is the middle child of four siblings. Her mother was a full-time homemaker who took her children to Sunday school and summer bible camp. Her father a retired fisherman, Nanette remembers his rock steady advise. "My father didn’t care if I was the President of the United States, a CEO or a garbage man.  Whatever I do, he told me to do it 110 percent," she says.
Growing up she learned the value of hard work as a deckhand on her family’s commercial fishing boats in Alaska and with courage skippered her father’s King Crab vessel the Norseman across the Bering Sea working to help pay for college at Portland State University.
Nanette is a dedicated Christian: adventurous and courageous, she is blessed to have God’s hand continually working in her life. Although baptized in a small Baptist church, she became a backslider during college and as a young adult.  It was the birth of her first son that drew Nanette back to her upbringing and back to God. Married, she spends her time raising strong, godly children and considers them her greatest achievement.
