I can attend Spearwood Academy, but it may destroy me.

To make a better life for my dad, I take the exam for Spearwood. But getting in was the easy part. As a Novice, I’m the lowest in the pecking order, but at least I have my friends.

But Spearwood changes people.

Best friends become enemies.
Enemies become friends.
Everyone is competition.

I came to Spearwood with a secret, but nothing is sacred when no one is safe from expulsion, or worse, death in one of their trials designed to separate the weak from the strong.

Will I stand strong against betrayal? Can I survive the tests? Dare I hope to make it home?
