John D. Sheuring was born in Athens, GA and currently resides in Wake Forest, NC. He is currently an instructor for a local community college where he teaches IT Cybersecurity and IT Management. He is also a retired US Navy Cryptologist. His interests take him to many different places because of his many interests in life including living in Scotland. With his many years devoted to his hobbies of railroading, mining gemstones, exploring historical locations, the mountains, photography, and cars including his beloved his 1971 Rover 2000TC nicknamed ‘Green Gator’ he has managed to garner a plethora of knowledge in numerous disciplines. With his imagination and his knowledge of Georgia and North Carolina, he has managed to incorporate truth with fiction in a story that reflects some of his own adventures.
