Brian Paley is a retired communications system design engineer.  He grew up in Winnipeg, Canada where he earned a Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of Manitoba.  He spent 35 years designing and implementing computer systems that ushered in the digital age of communications, and has patents in the areas of Digital Switching systems and Automated Directory Management. Brian has always had a fascination with the functioning of the human mind and the impact that computers have on our daily lives.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​He has published three insightful books spanning a range of genres including: non-fiction, science fiction, and biographical fiction. Brian lives with his wife of 49 years in Canton, GA.  His hobbies include hiking trail maintenance, pickleball, and golf.
