A.J. Church suffers from a fascination with the darker side of life, whether that be otherworldly characters and places or just the deepest recesses of the human psyche. Life as a military brat meant she was always the new kid in town, so her friends were often the characters she found in the books she read and later wrote. A college mentor, and a stint as editor of her college literary magazine, helped shape her command of grammar and writing. With over a dozen titles published under two names and more to come, she spends her days playing in the imaginary worlds she creates.
