Hollywood comes to Gold Leaf Valley – will Lauren, Annie, and Zoe become movie stars? When they're not catching a killer, of course!

The small town of Gold Leaf Valley in Northern California is abuzz with excitement – Zoe's princess script is being made into a movie!

When she's not serving coffee and cupcakes to their customers with her cousin Lauren, and Annie (Lauren's Norwegian Forest Cat), Zoe is waiting impatiently for her big time Hollywood agent to arrive.

The movie crew descend on the small town, along with Burt, Zoe's agent. She's thrilled to meet him, and some of the cast. When their friends get tiny roles in the movie, everyone is delighted.

Their pal Martha shows Burt her princess script, which could be the sequel to Zoe's sequel.

But when Lauren, Annie, and Zoe discover a dead body, they need to investigate!

With the pushy movie crew constantly ordering coffee and treats, and Lauren trying to come up with a new cupcake idea, how can they find time to sleuth? Even Martha is busy filming her small role in the movie and working on her script.

But when they come face to face with the killer, can they escape in time? Or will they have enjoyed their last Black Forest cupcake?
