Belonging to a zany paranormal family is tough when you’re not magical. That’s right, poor Violet Vance was born a plain ordinary mortal. Or so she believes?

But the slime really hits the cauldron when the waterfall next to her house flows backward and she gets a call from a strange new business client—a creepy man who owns a place called Murder Manor.

Violet takes the job—because, you know, money—and all goes well until ... heads begin to roll. Literally, out onto the carpet in the study, she’s been asked to redecorate.

As Violet sees it, she has two choices: run from the building screaming, or stay and investigate!
