A giant tsunami approaches as the General, sworn enemy of Kal Al Hakim, taunts his opponent from behind a giant glass bubble of buckminsterfullerene. Now, in 2045, the USA is to be wiped off the map and the ancient hidden continent of Atlantis revealed from beneath the ice flows of the Antarctic.

Previously, the United Saudi Arabian Kingdom, USAK, with its capital in Las Vegas had snatched global control from the US, stealing their military robot technology. Since seizing power in a coup, the megalomaniacal General is out to brain-chip the world's population. His ally the Singularity, a rapacious, self-programming Artificial Intelligence has built a time machine. Kal Al Hakim seeks to assassinate the General and regain control to impose a peaceful one world religion, while the tyrannical General dreams of conquering the galaxy. But first, he will travel back to meet his favorite philosopher, the nineteenth century German Friedrich Nietzsche, to bring him into the modern world. Nietzsche had pronounced God dead, so what will he make of the General's plan to elevate the Singularity to the status of a deity?
