I’ve always been drawn to the sea, and sailing has been a lifelong passion of mine. There’s something about the rhythm of the waves, the challenge of navigating shifting winds, and the sense of freedom on the water that deeply inspires me. That love of the ocean is woven into my writing, much of which is set in Provincetown—a town that has long held a special place in my heart. The town’s rich history, vibrant arts scene, and welcoming spirit have provided endless inspiration.
Before I was a writer, music played a major role in my life. With my background in classical music, I developed an appreciation for rhythm and harmony, which I like to think carries over into my storytelling. Whether it’s in the pacing of a novel or the emotions conveyed through a character’s journey, I strive to bring a sense of depth and lyricism to my work. Writing, much like music, allows me to explore emotions, relationships, and the resilience of the human spirit in ways that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable.
