Milissa has worked as a technical writer creating software manuals and instructions. She has also published articles regarding the use of technology in local government and created course content and taught classes on the role of planning in local government and its citizens. Milissa once had a job with a placement agency re-writing people’s resume`s. Today she enjoys writing science fiction and detective fiction short stories and novels. 
Milissa lives in coastal Virginia with her husband, a librarian, her dog and two cats.
