Author Crystal Benson is the middle child of seven children.  She was born in Lancaster, California but raised mostly in Illinois and Iowa.  She has lived in Arizona, California, and New Jersey.

     She is married to her second husband for over thirty years and had traveled the Midwest and East Coast with him during their trucking business.

     She was never an avid reader until she picked up a book from a campground library due to boredom.  She has been reading books ever since.

      She now lives in Arizona for the winter months and loves to travel and do a camping tour in the summer.  Since she has family in many states, she tries to visit most of them on her trips.
