Debbie’s love of writing began at an early age. Her first book, a middle grade fantasy was inspired by Baum's Wizard of Oz.

Her new release, Hurting Hearts Need a Light offers hope and encouragement to those who are hurting , and who may feel like their light has gone out at the end of their tunnel. The paths we travel on our journey through life isn't always easy. Sometimes we just need a helping hand to help us up.

It is Debbie's desire that people know that God cares for them and desires that everyone discovers their purpose in life.

She enjoys candle-making, and golfing, gardening, and kyacking are some of her favorite outside activities.  She lives with her husband and her dog, Ringo, in northern Indiana.
