Lewis Kirts grew up on a dairy farm in Dickerson, Maryland. Her father's family
owned peach orchards and her mother's family owned dairy farms. She lived on peaches
and cream in the summer and darn near froze to death in the winter.
It's been almost thirty years since she moved to Arizona to thaw out.
She's getting close.
She currently resides in the San Pedro Valley in Arizona with her husband,
three donkeys, two ravens, hummingbirds and quail.
