Similar to the work by Marianne Keyes, Turbulence is a great beach and or airport read. Sexy, funny, written in an accessible style it features a woman in her sixties navigating a difficult divorce and affair that leads her into the murky underworld of terrorism. The lead character's life story portrays a woman who is successful, and yet, through a series of events, becomes undone by her love of a 777 Airline Captain. It takes place in Sarasota, FL, the BVIs, Charleston, SC, Indonesia, Singapore and Chattanooga, TN. The novel is fast paced and insightful, dealing with issues of susceptibility and loss.
