About the author

Kathleen Williams Renk

Kathleen Williams Renk is a retired English professor and a published writer of creative nonfiction, fiction, two scholarly books and numerous articles. She studied fiction writing at the University of Iowa with the Pulitzer Prize winning writer, James Alan McPherson, and she belongs to the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. In addition to writing, she enjoys playing the fiddle, tutoring ESL, practicing yoga, and visiting with her three grown children and eight grandchildren. She is in the process of publishing an additional scholarly book and a novel about Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley, and is currently writing a novel about Elizabeth Siddal and Christina Rossetti, two members of the Pre-Raphaelite Sisterhood.
