Laura Lai lives in Málaga, South of Spain. She has a background in political sciences but, at heart, is an artist passionate about writing, particularly plays. Her playwright journey started with the “Drama Writing” course (Conted, Oxford Univ.). It continued with a series of writing courses provided by great universities on the edX.org international educational platform (e.g. BerkeleyX, HarvardX, etc.). In the drama field, she is interested in developing the single-issue drama: a playwright genre that focuses on the topic and the unfolding of the argument through dialog rather than on character building. This genre combines her background, drama writing skills, and pleasure for dialog argumentation. She also likes ancient history, foreign languages, movies, and museums. She pauses from her activities with a coffee and a cake.
