The Author is a geologist who has worked all over Africa principally in Angola, DR Congo, Sierra Leone, Senegal and Guinea (Conakry). She also has 12 years working in South America. This has given her a rich background of culture and adventure on which to draw for her books. Many of the incidents and the politics described in the books are genuine although the original locations and people involved are disguised and melded into fictional places and characters

The Sam Harris Adventure series of seven books covers the career of a female geologist, from rookie adventures in remote sites in Africa and South America, to forays in the the concrete jungle.
Rebel Green is a family saga set in Ireland at the beginning of the Troubles in the North. The author is working on researching a follow up.
