Born in the rural town of Hilmar, CA, D. K. Knight had a rough and lonely childhood. He got into trouble and made mistakes. By the time he was a teenager in high school, he had discovered his passion for reading fiction books by some of his favorite authors, such as Stephen King, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mary Shelley, etc. In high school, he discovered his passion for writing. He would write his ideas for a book into a notebook and hoped one day to become a published author after he realized his imagination would help him create great fiction ideas. After reaching adulthood, he pursued his career as a writer and was soon to be a screenplay writer as he pursues his dreams and goals of bringing characters to life in short stories, novelettes, novellas, and novels, even holds hope of bringing his characters to life on the big screen.
