This book is the result of a personal research project the author undertook in order to answer some serious questions he had regarding Jesus Christ, His Church, and His Mission on Earth. He also wanted to learn more about Judaism, the religion Christ was born into, the one He practiced during His life up to His Public Ministry, and the one whose followers failed to recognize that He was the foretold Messiah up to the moment of His death on the Cross, and even to this very day!

This astounding phenomenon and miracle, that God made for Himself a human body, entered it, and lived with it and in it until adulthood, and then allowed Himself to be brutally tortured and executed like a common criminal in front of hundreds of witnesses is not only a historical fact with plenty of hard evidence to prove it, but also the perfect way He Himself chose to save the human race from Eternal doom in Hell because of Sin. This is extremely mysterious!

The coming of Jesus into the world with this horrible salvific mission as the primary objective and Main Mission was prophesied by Old Testament Prophets throughout the centuries, so it really should not have come as a surprise that Jesus was the foretold Messiah to those who were familiar with the Holy Scriptures; namely, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the scribes. But that is precisely what happened! They not only rejected Him, but they treated Him like a common criminal and then had Him executed as well. This mysterious and stark reality, together with other curious data the author found in Scripture, finally led him one day to the conclusive question:

Why didn't these "experts" realize - and therefore believe - that Jesus was the promised Messiah?

After hundreds of years of prophecies about Him, including: Where He was going to be born and by Whom, What His mission and lineage would be, What tribe He would come from, What His name would be, How He was going to be treated by His own people, that He would be called a Nazarene, that He would speak in parables, and many others, why didn't these "experts" in Jewish Law and Scripture recognize Him when He finally came to Earth? What more information could they possibly have needed and wanted that wasn't given to them by the Prophets and by Jesus Christ Himself – in Person?

This curiosity became an intense research project and the conclusive answers revealed not only why the Jewish "experts" did not recognize Jesus as the foretold Messiah, but also a little about how Jesus prepared for His Sacrificial Mission and perhaps the steps God took in order to ensure its success. All of this, and so much more, is contained in this fascinating and easy to read new book.
