Venus with wings!

That's how I saw her for the very first time.

And it's been impossible ever since to get her off my mind.

As an archangel, being second-in-command, I had been too busy for love,

Or so I thought until it came knocking hard at my door.

Gabriel, it's your time, love called, no shriek it seemed.

And for once I was willing to heed its call and had decided to get close to her.

But it was not to be.

Just as I was alone with her for the first time, Lucifer struck at the very gates of Heaven!

There was going to be hell to pay, and Lucifer would be made to pay the full price for his savage encroachment.

Little did I know that I would be called upon, commanded is more like it, to descend to Earth and strike back at Lucifer's plan to turn mankind toward darkness.

But for once, I would not be leading the mission. To my great surprise, I am being called upon to protect her!

She, Magdalene, my Venus with wings, has been called upon to descend and bring light into the world.

And I can think of no one more infused with light.

The major catch is that we are to descend as humans.

I must say this rings all too familiar, and I didn't like the way it ended the first time, although I had had to accept that it was meant to be.

I know He has His ways, and they are many, but if I can do anything about it, I will protect her with my life.

There can be no other way.

I must prepare. We descend tomorrow.
