Elijah Stepanovich is the author of the epic fantasy novel The Heir of Ash and Thunder, his debut work and Book I in The Shattered Veil series. Drawing on his Serbian and Croatian heritage, his passion for history is tied to his own culture. He holds degrees in History and Political Science, which inform his exploration of ancient myths clashing with the quiet, brutal realities of modern empires. When he is not in the classroom, he is arguing historical accuracies in TV, Movies, and Video Games.
