"Boy in the Laundromat," is the first story in the collection. It is about Collin, who has battled adversity since he was a young boy and ends up living in a laundromat because of it. The story follows his journey up until he meets a helpful stranger.

"Hotel Mix-Up," is about Lynx and Sutton (two brothers with a complicated relationship) and the lengths a younger brother will go to please his older sibling. It shows the consequences of treating family poorly and examines the moral obligations of family.

"The Girl on The Roof," is the tale of Lynx, a young woman with a flair for random hookups to fill a gaping void. It follows the journey of Lynx and the meeting of a "normal" woman who changes Lynx's perspective on love and life.

Last, but not least, "The Kings Secret," is a tale of King Fennick and his royal children. It examines what happens when you don't deal with a problem right away, and the many pitfalls that secrets carry.
