Nonjabulo Sangweni- Arahill is a South African born, U.S. based author. Being raised in a dynamic, cultural environment has instilled in her an unshakable love and reverence for the beauty of African cultures, while also allowing her a first hand look into the challenging experiences that often categorize the various roles of women. A driving force behind her work is exploring these roles in their vast complexities, to celebrate the triumphs of women and to expose the injustices they often incur in the context of African cultures that center around male dominance.
