Mr. Darcy Never Had To Deal With Texans!

English actor, Jameson McKenzie should be basking in the glow of his recent Oscar win for playing Fitzwilliam Darcy, but he has two problems. Firstly, he's being hounded night and day by Pride and Prejudice fanatics. Secondly, a beloved, eccentric aunt wants him to narrate a documentary about poodles that would make him an international laughingstock. His only solution is to escape to Texas to be a groomsman for a friend's wedding.

However, when Jameson arrives in Texas, he soon learns everything in the Lone Star State is bigger, including the drama.

Small town wedding planner, Tilly Bennett is only one big day away from her new business being a success.  All that stands in her way is her diva family, an enraged sheep, and an infuriating, high-maintenance Hollywood star who has just played the man of her dreams. When Tilly meets Jameson, it's antagonism at first sight.

But now that a crisis threatens the wedding, can Jameson convince Tilly that he can save the day? Come hell sheep, high aunts and a disastrous vegan Viking bachelor party, this wedding is going to work!

Best-selling author Georgina Penney does the actual writing and reads far too many books.

Her husband, Tony Johnson (AKA The Kraken) helps out with plot wrangling and is in charge of caffeine distribution.

Franky, their surly cat also helps by running the complaints department from his hiding place under the coffee table.

When not writing warm and funny contemporary romance, Georgina and Tony can currently be found roaming the wilds of England & Scotland, hiking valiantly from café to tea shop in a never-ending quest to find the perfect scone.
