This practice is documented in the ancient Sanskrit treatise called "Shivambhu Tantra", however its practice in modern times is shrouded in secrecy and taboo. As someone who has practiced urine therapy for holistic healing, recovery from severe trauma and dysfunction, especially of the energy kind, I shared my personal experiences in my book "FIRST WATER: The Use of Urine and Sexual Fluids as Medicine". For example, many people want to know how it can possibly be safe to ingest urine that contains pharmaceuticals we're on, is that not the body eliminating them?
