When a couple breaks up, who gets the dog?

Ambushed into mediation by her sexy, soon-to-be-ex-husband, Midge realizes she'd give anything to have her family back together. But Nick doesn't want her. He wants the dog. What's a girl to do? She turns up the heat on the Upper West Side and absconds with Bucky. But the effort only leaves her devastated when the beagle is lawfully taken away.

Except, this entanglement only pulls her back to her ex again. Then, a viral Instagram post has Ivan questioning their relationship, her career takes a hit, and her life unravels.

At rock bottom, Midge is forced to evaluate her decisions and figure out what—or who—she really wants in order to find true happiness.
