F.W. Looms has always been curious about two things: secrets and creation. Whether it be societies, knowledge of the ancient occult mystery schools, or what it was those old fellas were up to in the Masonic Lodge-- he has always flirted with the forbidden. In 2005 he joined, found out, and went on to reach the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite.

In the spirit of creation, he attended art school to chase his childhood dream of drawing comic books. A fellow artist then invited him to work in California. In California, he taught himself screenwriting while working on independent films. Screenwriting led him back to his love of writing, which he used to mould the first book in his "A Ladder of Lies" series: Chaos.

When he's not breathing life into his creations, F. W. Looms continues to seek out secrets while living on the outskirts of Asheville, North Carolina.
