Maureen Shane is CEO of Anna Wilson Scripts, LLC. Born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, she was surrounded by both mountains and the ocean, which began her communion with nature. It’s that natural beauty of NC that Maureen parallels quite often in some of her metaphorical poetry.

She discovered her love of poetry as a youngster in elementary school. Writing became second nature to her and instantly cathartic. As she matured and experienced life, Maureen’s written word not only served as her therapy, but it inspired and empowered others as she would share her story.

When Maureen is not traveling, she can be found engaging in one of her many hobbies; however, she considers her spirituality and family to be the most important things in her life.
