Since I borrowed my first romance book from my mom’s nightstand, and read it under the covers with a flashlight, I’ve been a lover of romance.

Believe me, I’ve devoured my share of love stories!

I began my own fairy tale when a handsome Special Forces Green Beret decided to sit next to me. For a full year, we learned Russian together at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.

While driving down Seventeen Mile Drive on his Harley with a 1940’s sidecar, he knelt on the seat and proposed. My answer? “YES! Watch the road!” I’ve been giving him driving advice ever since. Almost three decades later, I still think he made the best decision to sit beside me because I’m crazy in love with him.

I am the proud mother of five children, four dogs, three fluffy cats and two crazy parrots. I was a Russian Linguist in the Air Force. I’m a Black Belt, a three time National Sparring Champion at the Black Belt level in TaeKwonDo, a gardening ninja and a DIY remodeling addict.

When not spinning stories, I enjoy walking with my hubby, jogging, kickboxing, collecting pets and attempting those impossible yoga poses.

I’m excited to focus full time on my secret passion—writing. I love the process of story telling, from the flicker of an idea to the birth of a new novel.
