Laleh Chini is a mother of two children, Amir and Abnoos, and wife of Mohammad H. Mosleh S. Laleh was born in Iran, Shiraz, in 1968. She moved to the USA in 1986. She got married in 1987 and moved to Canada, where she still lives today. Laleh started the "A voice from Iran" blog as a platform in 2017. She published "Climbing Over Grit" with Wisehouse Publishing/L-Aleph in 2018 and won the "Canada Book Award". Laleh is a member of 'Authors Without Borders'. 

Her second Novel "Soroosh" was published in January 2021 and won 'Canada Book Award' right after.
