Sidony is having a bad day. Her boyfriend left her on the same day she was fired from her dream job. She goes for a drive to clear her head, but slides off the road in the middle of nowhere.

While she is trying to hike to town to get help, a friendly woman picks her up and gives her a lift. She takes Sidony to the coffee shop/bakery she owns. It is quaint and cozy, but could use some serious TLC. Sidony offers to buy it.

Just as she is settling into her new life and remoldeling her new business, who should show up but an ex-boyfriend from her teenage years. He happens to be the grandson of the former owner, and has some infuriating ideas about how things should look and recipes that must stay.

Sidony finds him irritating at first, but his quirks and habits start to grow on her, and she starts to remember why they fell for each other in the first place. Plus he did grow into a very handsome man.

Can they keep their feud alive, or will they fall for each other all over again?
