Hugh Cook is in the Writing and Literature BA program in the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His poetry has been published in Tipton Poetry Journal, Ariel Chart and Muddy River Poetry Review. He was born in Santa Barbara, California, and his family has roots in the Pacific Northwest and the islands of the Salish Sea. He continues to work on his poetry and surf and rock climb on any coast or cliff available.
