Wellness on the Weekly: 52 Fun Prompts For Mindfulness, Movement, and a Whole Lot Less Stress!

Adrianne Lind
Adrianne Lind is a certified yoga teacher, mindfulness activist, yoga coach, and meditation guide whose work is grounded in the belief that literacy and mindfulness together create true empowerment. As founder of the nonprofit Wellness on the Weekly, Adrianne is on a mission to give away one million books.
She is the author of four books:
- Wellness on the Weekly: 52 Fun Prompts for Mindfulness, Movement, and a Whole Lot Less Stress!
- Wellness on the Weekly Companion
- Mindful & Mobilized
- Rooted Calm: 400 Affirmations for Everyday Steadiness
Her professional accomplishments are matched by a profound personal journey. Her relationship with yoga began in 1996, after she survived a four-story fall in Paris, an experience that changed her life's trajectory. Over the years, she has weathered significant challenges: surviving sexual assault, enduring two divorces, navigating menopause, caring for loved ones across continents, and mourning the loss of both parents. She managed chronic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
Adrianne's happiest moments are spent on a yoga mat, whether she's coaching others or practicing for herself. She is passionate about helping people reclaim their calm through daily stress, grief, aging, or the aftermath of trauma. Her journey includes founding a multi-award-winning blog and hosting three podcasts, always with the goal of building connection and resilience.
In quieter moments, Adrianne can be found reading, knitting, dreaming of sewing again, quilting, cooking, or simply savoring life with her beloved Swede. Despite a lifelong struggle to rest, she continues to choose joy, creativity, and presence, one breath and one mindful moment at a time.
