Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Sandra Hutchison survived a transplant to a small, snowy New England town in high school and eventually stopped sulking about it, though it's possible she's still working it out in her fiction. After years spent working in publishing in New Jersey, she moved to the Capital Region of New York, where she taught writing at Hudson Valley Community College.
She writes romantic women's fiction, including The Awful Mess and its sequels The Complete Disaster and The Utter Catastrophe and stand-alone novels The Ribs and Thigh Bones of Desire, Bardwell’s Folly, and Disorganize Me.
