Lionel Snell earns a living as a promotional and ghost writer for ICT companies, explaining their difficult stuff in simple language for business to business communications. He enjoys far more explaining really difficult stuff, like magic, and has written about a dozen books under pseudonyms. But those do not earn a living.
He was brought up in the Gloucestershire Cotswold Hills and was plucked from the wilds by winning scholarships and government grants to go to Clifton College in Bristol and Emmanuel College in Canbridge, where he got his degree in pure mathematics. In various teaching and technical writing jobs he learned how to explain difficult things.
He is now married and living near Cape Town. He likes vegetable gardening, good food, cats, movies, sunshine – the usual things – especially his wife.
