Steve Martin started his musical career at school, forming a band at the age of 14. After leaving school he got a job as an assistant sound engineer at CTS studios in London and worked on films such as: Let It Be, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Lindsay Andersson's If & Husbands with John Cassavetes.
In the early 70s he joined an international cover band touring Germany before moving to Sweden where he lived for the next 10 years. During that time he established himself as one of the top composers for advertising and TV production in Scandinavia. In 1988 he was commissioned to write the ITN news theme for British TV and moved back to London where he continued to compose. His music has been included in countless international TV & film productions. These days Steve splits his time between Europe where he still writes & records and his home in Antigua.
