<p>Ilan was born in Canada in 1953. He was raised in Israel and spent his teen years in Iran and Ethiopia before his army service in Israel. He moved to Canada, went to university and became a tech executive and consultant, and then, in retirement, an executive coach to corporations, business owners and entrepreneurs. This remarkable man succumbed to brain cancer in 2016. His life continues to inspire those who knew him.</p>
