Welcome to Karen’s Page!<br><strong>Karen Carnahan</strong> is a YA fantasy author whose works are available to readers in multiple countries worldwide. Before turning to epic fantasy, she built a foundation in poetry, with publications in the <em>Fayetteville Observer Newspaper</em>, <em>Labour’s of Love</em> (Noble House Publishers), <em>Eternal Portraits</em> (International Library of Poetry), <em>The Best Poems and Poets 2004</em> (International Library of Poetry), and <em>Whispers</em> (American Poet Society). Her poetry has also earned her the <em>Editor’s Choice Award</em> in both 2004 and 2005.<br>Karen studied Writing Fiction at the Open University, the UK’s largest public research university for undergraduate education, and is currently pursuing a <strong>BA in Creative Writing and English at Southern New Hampshire University</strong>. She now lives and writes in the wild and wonderful mountains of West Virginia, where she continues to craft stories of magic, resilience, and destiny for young adult readers.
