<p>This author studied history and politics and then business and law. She became a law and economics lecturer in Higher Education and later left to start her own tutoring agency. She has since run a guesthouse and lives with her husband and two crazy Birman cats in a restored cottage near to a canal in Knowle in England. Many of the novels derive from the cases she read during her teaching career.</p>

<p>She enjoys Zumba and yoga. She loves art and illustrates her own book covers. Her current passion is making succulent and cacti bowls for her gazebo where she likes to write in the summer.</p>

<p>She also writes historical romance novels under the name of Alexie Bolton and books for children under the name of Dawn Bolton.</p>
