About the author
Cass Dakotah

Cass is a survivor, a mother of three, a writer, and an advocate for women whose voices have been silenced by abuse. Her life has been marked by both unthinkable violence and unshakable resilience. In telling her story, she refuses to let what tried to destroy her define her.

Her memoir, Run Until the Road Ends, is more than a book — it is a testimony of survival, a call to courage, and a reminder that freedom is possible even in the darkest places. Cass writes with raw honesty, blending fierce defiance with quiet reflection, turning memory into witness, and witness into strength.

In 2025, Cass began chasing bigger platforms — not for crowns or recognition, but for every silenced voice. When she steps into the spotlight, it is not for herself, but for every survivor still caught in the storm, and for every woman who has yet to be heard.

Beyond writing, she is a mother rebuilding a life of peace and joy with her children; an artist who believes in creativity as healing; and a woman learning to stand tall in her own identity.

Cass lives in South Africa with her children and their animals. Her greatest pride is not in titles or stages, but in laughter at her kitchen table, freedom in her home, and the knowledge that her story — once nearly buried — may now help others rise.
