Starting out as a voracious reader in a desert in Southern California, JJ Lynn Daniels escaped the heat to become a young adult dystopian author living within view of the Rocky Mountains of the western United States.<br> <br>When not writing books, raising her three daughters, teaching her German Shepherd, Buffy, new tricks, or working as a registered nurse, JJ likes to sit on the back porch with a hot cup of coffee and a good book.
