<p>I've been writing historical fiction under the pen name of Louise Charles but am now moving to more fantasy/mystical/timeslip writing under my own name of JoAnna Lamb.</p>
<p>I live in Central Le Marche, Italy, having decamped here in 2007 with my soul mate, partner, husband and my biggest fan; Simon. We live a simple life, with three dogs, six semi-feral kitties and four chickens. And on occasion a wild pig and her family pays us visits, usually after dark. Our combined, growing human family includes five sons, four granddaughters and a grandson, all of whom live in the UK.</p>
<p>Writing gives me the opportunity to create my own world, living a life through my characters, both good and bad, the chance to take risks, if only on the page. I can't imagine a life without writing in it...</p>
