<p>Anna Kordzaia-Samadashvili is a writer and literary translator from German language. She also teaches literature and creative writing at Ilia State University in Tbilisi. She has translated texts of Ingeborg Bachmann, RĂ¼diger Safranski, Elfriede Jelinek, Arthur Schnitzler, and others.<br>Anna's literary debut was in 2002 when she published a short story collection, Berikaoba. Later she wrote many short stories and three novels which all became readers' and critics' favorites. Her fiction talks about the lives of ordinary people extraordinarily. She unravels the beauty and sadness of what it means to be human. Anna's works are translated into English, German and Swedish.</p>
