Born in Aden, educated in Egypt and the UK. I have experience as prosecution attorney, advocate, legal consultant and translator for the last forty years in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was through my uncle, a longtime solicitor in Birmingham, I became familiar with the experiences of the communities living in the U.K. Later, my uncle’s stories and his descriptions of the expat life came to form the background of my book.<p><br></p>
