<p>Nicky Flinkfelt is a phlebotomist by day and a single mom, writer, and owner of an obnoxious terrier by night. She is the author of her debut novel Zinnia and The Original People and is currently working on the sequel to this seven book series. Nicky's life-long desire to get lost in other worlds pulled her into a realm of imagination and brought her back out as a creative story-teller full of color and excitement. She grew up in Tacoma, Washington and was the second to the youngest child out of six kids. She's been to several countries but hasn't nearly gone to enough. Her biggest dream is to become a full time writer while traveling to every corner of the world. </p>
