Kirsten Bett (Auckland, 1 July 1962) is both Dutch and New Zealand and has lived in both countries for long periods. After gaining her Diploma in Creative Writing in New Zealand, she published her first book <em></em><em>My Name is Wilma.</em><br>This book has been translated and edited and is available under the title <em>Wilma een Wereldkat.<br><br></em>Kirsten now lives in Leeuwarden in the north of the Netherlands with her partner Wim and their tuxedo Max.<br>
