<strong></strong>Arpan Dey holds a Bachelor's degree in physics from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and is currently a Master's student in the IDIL Graduate Program (Physics track - Modeling Biological and Environmental Systems) at the University of Montpellier. At present, he is primarily focusing on statistical mechanics, nonlinear dynamics and biological physics; but he is also deeply interested in the theoretical aspects of quantum mechanics and the philosophy of physics. He has written and edited many science articles (original research and review) for different journals and magazines. He has worked on several research projects at different institutes and has also presented some of his papers at his college and beyond. He has published a popular science book on physics, titled Our Physics So Far: A Journey through Spacetime, Consciousness and the Fundamental Nature of Reality. He is also the founder of The Journal of Young Physicists, a physics blog committed to popularizing physics and fostering the growth of young physicists.
